However the decision to buy the extended battery or not is the search for an optimum of different paramaters: weight, battery life, ergonomics, price, etc. Which in the end is a hard personal decision to make.

I am physical therapist working in the ergonomics industry. Proper ergonomic keyboards will have a zero or negative angle (keyboard is slightly higher towards you, in other words, if you placed a marble on the keyboard, it would stay where it is or roll away from you) This keeps your wrists in neutral position when typing.This netbook has the opposite design. The keyboard is lower on the closer side (in other words, a marble on the keyboard would roll towards you). I’m sorry to hear that you can’t get the HP Mini 1000 setup, the way you would like it. Let me try to help you a little.

1. You didn’t install Outlook Express right?? Or did you remove files with the File Explorer ??

2. You installed Microsoft Office Professional 2007? Why would you buy an additional version of Outlook 2007, if it is included in the Professional version??

What I would advise you is to completely uninstall Microsoft Office 2007, using the Control Panel on your HP Mini 1000. Install and run the latest version of CCleaner, and reinstall an OFFICIAL version of Microsoft Office 2007 on the HP Mini 1000.

I have tested Windows 7 RC with Microsoft Office 2007, and currently I’m testing Windows 7 RC with Microsoft Office 2010 beta. And yes, Microsoft Outlook is the most used programs in the Microsoft Office Suite.
