The discussion has already been wide-spread: There are a lot of new Windows Phone 7 devices who seem to have a microSD card for internal storage memory, although the microSD has been made inaccessible (not without voiding your warranty and removing several parts) to the users. So there is no easy way to upgrade the memory to save more music or videos on your device.
The LG E-900 Optimus 7 performs really well compared to other Windows Phone 7 devices and now we know why. LG is one of the few companies that uses (superfast) NAND flash memory instead of slower microSD cards. So the reason there is no (inaccessible) sd card slot on the Optimus 7 can be explained now and why it performs faster too.
A user from XDA has taken the liberty to tear the device apart and shot some pictures while he was at it. These pictures show that the LG Optimus 7 has 16GB of soldered memory from Hynix on board and that a microSD card slot is nowhere to be found.
What do you think of this ? Will this influence your decision when buying a Windows Phone 7 or not ?
