Many Windows Phone user are asking how to get the alphabet jump list in their application listing on their Windows Phone. Most users know by now that this will automatically happen if the have more than 45 applications installed on their device. However there is a little trick that you can get this with less than 45 applications installed as well.

The trick is actually very easy. Install more than 45 applications on your Windows Phone, even if you don’t want them. The alphabet jump list will now show up in your application menu. Now you can remove the not needed applications and your alphabet jump list will stay in place. :)

We found this through a post on the Nokia forums in Europe where a user just did this to get the alphabet jumplist.
