Microsoft just released a new Bing application for Windows Mobile. It is replacing the already familiar Microsoft Live Search application for Windows Mobile.
The application is available for download directly from your device. Just point your mobile browser to http://m.bing.com/download or you can download the windows mobile installation file (.cab) here directly.
Currently the new Bing application is only avaialble for Windows Mobile 2003, 2003 SE 5 and 6. The Bing application offers support for United States, United Kingdom, France and Italy. However I have it installed on my 6.1 device as well.
Blackberry users still can download the Live Search application here.
So far this is simply a re-branding of the Live Search app to match the web based Bing . New functionality is expected later this year.

I got re-directed to http://m.bing.com via the follow Microsoft Website with latest applications.

The funny part is that on my HTC Snap I get the GERMAN version of the mobile Bing website. Someone experiencing the same problem as well ?
That’s because your location determines the download and it is:

I have to tell you that I liked windows live on my windows mobile phone and I absolutely love bing… I think Microsoft is really onto something here.
Microsoft Bing would be the closet competitor of Google. but i still use Google because it shows more relevant results on the serp.
i have been evaluating the search results of Microsoft Bing compared to Google and they are comparable. Bing gives almost the same relevant search results just like Google.
Bing search engine gives almost the same search results as Google. Looks like Google will now have a tough competition when it comes to search engine technology.
i have been using the BING search engine for a couple of weeks. it seems to be as good as Google but for some reason i would still want to stick with Google search engine.
i am using both Bing and Google and i think both search engines give relevant search results. i would still prefer Google though, because it gives a little bit more relevant search results than Bing.
my default search engine is Yahoo but now i am using BING because it is much better than Yahoo. i heard that Bing search engine would power Yahoo search also.
I use both Bing and Google search engine and i dont see much difference in their search results. I use google for searching hard to find academic topics and Bing for general search.
