HTC Touch Pro2 hotfixes for GPS Capability and Text Message Sending improvements

A few days ago HTC has released two downloadable hotfixes for the HTC Touch Pro2 flagship device on the HTC Support website. If you do own a HTC Touch Pro2 you should certainly check out the HTC support website and install the hotfixes on your Windows Phone if you experience, the problems listed below.

The first hotfix is aimed at:

Hotfix to enhance the internal GPS capability in the HTC Touch Pro2
This hotfix can help the HTC Touch Pro2 seek out GPS satellites when using programs like TomTom, PAPAGO and others.

And the second hotfix will:

Hotfix to allow SMS Text Messages to be sent using the “+” international prefix for HTC Touch Pro2
In Touch FLO 3D, SMS Messages cannot be sent out with the + prefix before the country code (+[Country Code][Phone number]).

Furthermore it is always helpfull to check the HTC support pages, since you can find additional support information per device. Think of device FAQs, user manuals and quick start guides in multiple languages.

Mark Briggeman has reviewed the HTC Touch Pro2 in the article “HTC Touch Pro2 review” almost 3 months ago, but I haven’t heard him complain about these problems despite the fact that it is his primary device for everyday use.  So my question to the readers out there is, are the hotfixes really significant improvements to the functional use of the HTC Touch Pro2 ? Share your experiences if you would like to.
