April 1st is normally a day of jokes and laughs, but this time it was also pretty excited for me, because I was awarded with the MVP Award from Microsoft.
Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) are exceptional technical community leaders from around the world who are awarded for voluntarily sharing their high quality, real world expertise in offline and online technical communities. Microsoft MVPs are a highly select group of experts that represents the technical community’s best and brightest, and they share a deep commitment to community and a willingness to help others.
I started at the Dutch PocketPC-Club, now known as Pocketinfo back in 2002. Within a few months I joined the team as a moderator and was being promoted to super moderator and forum administrator after a couple of years. I am still active at Pocketinfo and in 2008 I also joined the Windows Mobile Total Access forums where I just accepted a position as a moderator on the forums.
Here, on MobilityMinded you can also find Johan van Mierlo who is also a MVP Windows Mobile. So instead of one, all the views, news and reviews are brought to you by two Windows Mobile MVP’s !
