If you are waiting for the Slingplayer for your iPhone, you might get disappointed. Slingcommunity has found out that only the Slingbox Pro, Solo and Pro HD will be supported by the Slingplayer for iPhone. If you have a Slingbox Classic, Slingbox AV and a Slingbox Tuner, you will be left in the dark. The Slingplayer for iPhone will not support these Slingboxes.

As an early adopter and Slingbox Classic owner, I am a bit disappointed at Slingmedia. They are offering a $50 upgrade incentive if you buy a Pro, Solo or Pro HD. But I will keep my money in my pocket and my Slingbox Classic will be serving my Windows Mobile phones as usual. Slingplayer for Windows Mobile does work fine !
