I just purchased the LG eXpo online so I should have it in the upcoming week. Currently I have the LG Incite, It’s a great device, but it’s time to move on to something more powerful. I currently have my Dark Wolf 28014 rom loaded on http://www.LG-eXpo.com I’m hoping to cook up some really good roms for this phone. I prefer the 6.5.1 interface with the start menu on the bottom of the screen and would love to port it to this phone.

And, oh yeah, it’s got a Snapdragon. I think you overlook the hardware spec-sheet when you fail to mention it’s one of the only 1GHz phones available in the US. That’s not so outdated.

How is Android a “market leader?” Just because it’s new? Where are all the awesome apps, and why isn’t everyone on the street using Android then? Not ripping on Android, just on your misrepresentation-slash-favoritism. Seems like WM is still the market leader, I’d say it’s the most widely-distributed mobile OS yet. Also, styli are nice to have as options, say for drawing or doodling, or handwriting-recognition typing. There, that should cover my Devil’s-advocate work for the day.

I’m finding LG’s latest phone offerings very outdated. LG seems to be the last handset manufacturer concentrating on phones based on Microsoft’s old fashioned Windows Mobile 6.5.

The most obvious sign that you are using a product based on Microsoft’s Pocket PC platform of last decade, is the inclusion of a stylus pen to tap on the screen. Microsoft’s Pocket PC was renamed Windows Mobile, now often referred to as Windows Phone.

I find the stylus completely inexcusable in this day and age. The market leaders, such as Android and iPhone, use a multi-touch interface. LG should follow its competitors, and make a wholesale switch to Android, or lose sales.
