My good friend Clinton Fitch, Windows Mobile MVP and Editor in Chief of ClintonFitch.com, announced the completely redesigned 5.0 version of his website ClintonFitch.com last Monday.

Everyone who has tried to customize a website template, knows how much time and efforts go into a few customizations. So it is not hard to imagine how much time and efforts Clinton has put in the complete website re-design, and switch to WordPress as the content management system.

What is new in ClintonFitch.com v5.0 ??

In the blogpost “Welcome to ClintonFitch.com v5.0!” you can find an overview of the most significant changes, while some interesting additional facts as well:

“The new site is the culmination of feedback from fellow bloggers, readers and research and brings you what I hope to be the best experience on the site yet.  ClintonFitch.com has attracted nearly 24 million visitors since its opening in August 2004 and each time I do a site upgrade or design change I keep you, the readers in mind.  It is my hope that you will find the new site easier to navigate, easier to read and generally more attractive to view.”

My compliments for the impressive number of visitors, a great milestone which deserves a big applause. Furthermore I admire Clinton for being a great community guy and thinking about the readers and endusers of the products and services he reviews. Another great example of this attitude is the following part of the welcome blogpost:

Judie is a great person, who also has a great community mindset. She is always willing to help fellow friends, and I considre myself fortunate to have met her in person.

“While the visual and functional side of ClintonFitch.com has change, the content hasn’t and won’t.  My main focus has been and will continue to be to provide software and hardware reviews of Windows Phone, iPhone and Android base mobile devices as well as Windows-based PCs.”
