When it comes to file explorers for Windows Mobile there are a few options. Altough the default file explorer will do well enough for the average user, more advanced users will tend to install either Total Commander or Resco Explorer. ThrottleExplorer is a new new, fresh file explorer for windows mobile.
Let’s take a look at some screenshots:
The main screen shows the folder structure on the device. The folders are displayed rather large which makes ThrottleExplorer finger friendly. This is the major advantage of ThrottleExplorer.
Sorting can be done by Date, Extension or in Alphabetical order. Again this menu is very easily accessible and very finger friendly.
The tools menu shows the option to Uncollapse and Collapse all folders, Add a folder, Refresh the page, Exit the application or go to the aboutscreen.
Although the options are already displayed I the Uncollapse all and collapse all buttons don’t seem to work.
The application is in version 0.1. But nevertheless I think it’s a good application. There defenately needs some development be done at this application but I think if all the bugs are solved this can be a good application.
