The Apple iPad has a great calendar user interface. With the added screen estate it shows the calendar in a notebook style. In both landscape and portrait mode is shows the identical lay-out. (see video). I much prefer the landscape orientation which gives me an easier look and read of what is going on in my life. During the launch of the Apple iPad the only attractive case in the Apple store was the Original iPad Case. They were selling  iPad sleeves as well, but this original Apple iPad case was designed to add some great functionality besides just a case. On Saturday morning April 3rd, 2010 I got up early enough to stand inline as a walk-in at the Apple store in our area. Gear Diary's Dan Cohen was able to have an exclusive with WebIS Alex Kac about the plans for their favorite application, Pocket Informant, on the iPad. The iPad is an interesting thing.
