Did you just get a brand new Windows Phone 8X by HTC?  Do you already scratches on the screen? Well we have !! I guess the Gorilla Glass 2 is not really that scratch resistant. However the Corning Gorilla Glass on the Nokia Lumia 920 is not showing anything like we see on the Windows Phone 8X by HTC. It is very hard to notice, but the scratches are there! In a press release earlier today from AT&T about the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 availability it was also noted that the Windows Phone 8X by HTC will be available in the stores before the Thanksgiving holidays. The Windows Phone 8X by HTC will be available in the standard size but will have a special AT&T model. Yesterday HTC announced together with Microsoft their new HTC Signature Windows Phone devices. Part of the announcement was that Microsoft and HTC have a special relationship and made this even more evident. The new HTC 8X and HTC 8S are actually not named the way most of us are referring to these devices. The tighter relationship  between HTC and Microsft allowes HTC to call their devices as HTC Signature Windows Phone units. Yesterday I had the pleasure to attend the press conference of  HTC launching their new Windows Phone devices the HTC 8X and the HTC 8S in New York City. Let me tell you that it was definitely worth my time and I have to give HTC credit  that they have stepped up their game with these great new Windows Phone devices. With two similar HTC events going on in New York City and London will already tell you that HTC is giving these new Windows Phone Signature device a high priority. Tomorrow will be Nokia’s day in New York City where it will launch their rumored Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 devices. Samsung announced the Ativ S last week during the IFA.  Next week  Apple will make their announcement of new devices, but HTC will sandwich this date with an Windows Phone 8 announcement on the 19th of September in New York City. We will be there tomorrow and on the 19th and let you know the details of Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 8 operating system. This month is definitely gonna be a great month for Windows Phone 8.

You might have been reading that this coming Sunday the new Windows Phones namely The Samsung Focus S, Samsung Flash and the HTC Titan will be available in the AT&T stores. But the day, which is this Monday November 7, 2011, Microsoft has a whole day planned in NYC to give Windows Phone a giant push.
