Samsung just announced at IFA 2013 in Berlin their first Smartwatch the Samsung Galaxy Gear. According to the announcement the Galaxy Gear will be available in over 140 countries worldwide starting September the 25th. After last weeks announcement of the Apple iPhone 5 there are many opinions floating around the web. Besides a longer screen on the iPhone 5 there are not too many other exiting improvements. It looks like the trend setter of the smartphone has lost it edge and is now trailing behind of the already launched Samsung Galaxy S III and the upcoming Nokia Lumia 920. Tomorrow will be Nokia’s day in New York City where it will launch their rumored Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 devices. Samsung announced the Ativ S last week during the IFA.  Next week  Apple will make their announcement of new devices, but HTC will sandwich this date with an Windows Phone 8 announcement on the 19th of September in New York City. We will be there tomorrow and on the 19th and let you know the details of Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 8 operating system. This month is definitely gonna be a great month for Windows Phone 8.  


Last week I had the opportunity to have a quick hands on with the new line of the Samsung Windows Phones. The Samsung Focus S has improved screen quality, 8 mp camera and a added front facing camera and is even slimmer compared to the original Focus S. The Samsung Focus Flash is a new design with trimmed down specifications and has is more like a squared off candy bar design compared to the the Focus S. You might have been reading that this coming Sunday the new Windows Phones namely The Samsung Focus S, Samsung Flash and the HTC Titan will be available in the AT&T stores.
